Mental health associated cardiovascular pathology

We aim to identify cellular and molecular mechanisms of mental health associated cardiovascular pathologies. Our focus is to identify cardiac outcomes associated with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and effects of current PTSD clinical therapies compared to new novel treatments. Our goal is to discover potential biomarkers and therapeutic targets to decrease cardiovascular disease risk in patients diagnosed with PTSD.
